There was a motor vehicle accident in Jacobs parking lot around 6:30 p.m. today. The motorcyclist is injured and was taken to Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital, according to Police Lieutenant David Urbanek.

All buildings on South Campus were affected, including Michael Hall and resident halls Goodyear and Clement, and UB canceled all classes on the campus. The campus regained power at 3 a.m. Thursday and classes went back to normal schedule.
University Police say the cause of failure is unknown at this time and that there is no estimation for when it will be restored.
