This Wednesday to Saturday, the swimming and diving team will be competing in Mid-American Conference championships.
Men’s Basketball (16-6, 8-1 MAC) The Bulls have looked like killers in the MAC so far this season. Despite a recent close loss to Kent State (12-10, 6-3 MAC), the Bulls have won nine of their last 10 games. Seven of those wins were by 10 points or more. The team started the season with some impressive individual performances, but now the Bulls have been playing on a more consistent level.

Men’s basketball (13-12, 7-5 Mid-American Conference) Buffalo’s men’s basketball team continued its win streak this week when they picked up two more victories against the Northern Illinois Huskies and Bowling Green Falcons.
UB men’s basketball defeated Ball State (15-8, 6-4) 96-69 Friday in a nationally televised game at Worthen Arena. It was the third straight game in which the Bulls scored 90 points, the first time they have done that since the ’94-’95 season.
Softball (14-27, 8-6 Mid-American Conference) The Bulls dominated their weekend series with Bowling Green (16-27, 4-10 MAC) at Nan Harvey Field.

The men’s squad went 1-1 this past week and ended its three-game losing streak after an 88-74 home victory over Bowling Green (13-14, 4-10 MAC). Earlier in the week, Buffalo lost on the road to top-seeded Akron (21-6, 10-4 MAC) 80-70 before heading back home to take the victory over the Falcons.

Last Wednesday Jonathan Jones, a recently graduated senior, automatically qualified as a competitor in the USA Track and Field Championships. He will return to the same field he won gold at in Oregon last week.
Senior Jonathan Jones won gold in the shot put at the NCAA Outdoor Championships on Wednesday in Eugene, Oregon with a school-record throw of 20.78 meters.
Christian Pino and Raheem Johnson are just two UB athletes who approach their diet specifically to get in top game shape.
