Filling in for the injured Byron Leftwich, Stan Hill occupied the role as Marshall Thundering Herd quarterback admirably on Tuesday night against the Miami of Ohio RedHawks.Hill led the Herd to a 34-32 victory while throwing for 292 yards and four touchdowns and he ran in the game winning score with five seconds remaining in the game.Marshall was given a second chance when an extremely questionable pass interference call was made on fourth down in the endzone giving MU a first down and goal.

Women's Soccer: Tragedy Becomes Inspiration

On Wednesday afternoon, words could not describe the emotion that was felt at Cochrane Field during the women's soccer quarterfinal game between the Bowling Green Falcons and UB Bulls.But one word can sum up the Falcon's performance - inspirational.Bowling Green, playing one day after freshman teammate Leslie Dawley collapsed on that very same field and later passed away, defeated UB 2-1 in double overtime on a penalty kick goal by Julie Trundle."It is so heartwarming to see our team give a performance like this," said BGSU Head Coach Andy Richards.
