UB students studying in France safe after terror attacks

All six, four of whom were in Paris, are reported safe and unharmed

Four UB students studying abroad in Paris, France and two students studying in the south of France are all safe after at least 129 people were killed yesterday in several terror attacks in Paris.

UB officials released a statement Saturday that the university has gotten in contact with the students overnight and they are all unharmed.

"With the rest of the world, the University at Buffalo community is shocked and saddened by the senseless violence that occurred last night in Paris. Our thoughts are with all of those who have been affected by these terrible events," the statement said.

UB is staying in touch with the students and their families.
