I hate the radio. Generally speaking I don't like to waste emotion on inanimate objects, but I really hate the radio.
Last Friday, the New York Times ran a story about a columnist for Yale's student newspaper. The student's column was solely about sex, and it was evidently the most popular column in the Yale Daily News.

UB's record on recent elections is pitiful. I was aghast last week when I overheard a UB student refer to South Campus as "downtown" Buffalo.
A coach of mine once said that success is where preparation meets opportunity. The UB women's soccer team has mastered the latter two components but has failed to find success with any regularity at this juncture of the season.
You name it, this game had it. A blocked punt, a punt return touchdown, big sacks, interceptions, fumbles, interceptions AND fumbles on the same play, and even the devouring of a UB cheerleader by one "Clammy Sosa."And only a measly 8,112 in attendance got to see an actually entertaining Buffalo home game.
Affirmative Action is again being called into question, as the seeds for a national debate may have been planted in Ann Arbor, Mich.
Allen Wade Parker, a man living in San Francisco, recently donated $50,000 to UB for DNA research.
Jennifer Tuttle will be named UB's new delegate to the University Council on Monday - however, students will not have a chance to vote for her.
