  The Emerging Choreographers’ Showcase opened Saturday on North Campus. The show was postponed on Thursday, but performed to a full-house on Saturday at the Katherine Cornell Theatre.

Maria Cwiklinski spent 92 days creating her eight-minute-long choreographed dance, collaborating with dancers and a student light designer to create a captivating performance.


UB’s Musical Theatre program fought off the foul weather to put on an intimate and well-rehearsed performance of “The Man Who Would Be King.” The play was performed at the Center For the Arts’ Black Box Theatre on Saturday.

Black Box Theatre on Saturday. Emily Aiing Ling, The Spectrum After three delays due to the egregious winter storm, the students of UB?s Musical Theatre program proved the show must go on by performing ?The Man Who Would Be King? Saturday. The play was adapted from the Rudyard Kipling novella of the same name.

The Department of Theatre & Dance?s production of ?The Man Who Would Be King,? was canceled Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evening due to weather.
