A UB female was "roughed up and assaulted" early this morning by two tall black males of medium built, according to a UB alert sent to the campus community at 3:25 a.m.
The assault took place at Core Road, near the Ellicott Complex and the Millard Fillmore Academic Center. The alert said the incident was possibly an attempted sexual abuse.
There is an ongoing investigation and the university will be issuing a statement on the assault soon. Anyone with information is urged to contact university police.
