With a menu full of choice, the restaurant is ready to serve your every whim. Walking in is like taking a stroll down memory lane to local deli in your hometown. The air is saturated with homemade smells making your belly tingle.
Campus Cafe has been serving hungry University at Buffalo students, faculty and guests for four years. Their menu includes breakfast served all day to burritos to delicious deli sandwiches.
Nancy Miloff, owner and cashier for Campus Cafe, says that she is there for the students, which allows for a special relationship with her customers.
"We cater to students every single day," Miloff said. "Some of our best sandwiches were in fact created by students."
Some of those options are the Pregger, the Elmo and even the Stinger wrap. All built by students for students to give that satisfying non processed taste, which is a great change of pace for customers. They also provide a wide ranger of salads, Panini's and even vegetarian specialties.
"We provide homemade, ready to eat healthy choices," Miloff said, "We also sell a lot of number turkey and beef burgers with also a lot of French fries daily. Our biggest hit though is the Greek souvlaki salad.
The Campus Cafe usually has a devout following, which isn't surprising considering they give everyone a slice of home cooking. Many students say that the satisfaction after a meal is totally different from anywhere else the campus offers. Many even agree that the portions are big and bold, giving more "bang for your buck."
Randi Korder, a junior communication major has nothing but good things to say about the Campus Cafe.
"It's the best thing here on campus," Korder said. "It's the closet thing to food at home. My favorite things to get are the salads."
When you're strolling after class and looking for that perfect meal to eat, saunter down to the Commons and give Miloff and the crew a visit. Enjoy the satisfaction because the Campus Cafe is unique feature of North Campus.
