Bulls wide receiver Ernest Jackson was named the Mid-American Conference East Division Special Teams Player of the Week after his performance against Missouri this past Saturday.
Jackson had a 97-yard kick off return for a touchdown, the longest return in the Bulls' Division I-A era. In addition, he earned two more touchdowns to finish the game. The Bulls lost to Missouri 42-21.
This is the first time that the senior wide receiver has won the award. Jackson is the third Bull to receive player of the week honors this year. Senior quarterback Drew Willy and junior wide receiver Naaman Roosevelt were previously named MAC East offensive players of the week.
