???On Saturday, the men's rugby team earned an important New York State Rugby Conference (NYSRC) win against rival Brockport.

???The 19-7 victory was due in-part to Tom Ryan and Matt Agugliaro. Ryan earned two tries in the match while Agugliaro earned one.

???Buffalo captain Mike McGuire was very pleased with how his team played.

???"It was a pretty big win for us," McGuire said. "We were outsized and were able to control the game with the guys we had."

???McGuire felt that, while Brockport was expected to control the NYSRC due to a multitude of returning players, Buffalo stepped up to the plate with most of their roster completely new.

???"One of the big things is that we are so young. We graduated 11 of our 15 starters, so there was a bunch of new guys out there," McGuire said.

??? Looking into next week's matchup against Albany, McGuire hopes that his team can come together.

???"After coming off a win, we got to come to practice and work as a team. One thing we lacked [this week] was team unity. We need everyone on the same game plan," he said.

???The victory against Brockport puts Buffalo at 3-0 on the season.
