This Week's Theme: "Pre-Pennsylvania Primary Motivation Material"
One for Mr. Obama: "The Candidate" (1972)
Robert Redford plays a young, charming idealist with little experience but big expectations. The only campaign difference between this fictional candidate and Senator Obama is the amount of times each says, "yes we can" in a given day.

One for Mrs. Clinton: "The Contender" (2000)
A tough, hard-nosed lady Senator (played by the great Joan Allen) runs for vice president after the incumbent dies. Smear-campaigning ensues, but the independent woman pushes on through it all. Heck, Allen even looks a little like Clinton in this thing.
