For two semesters now, I've sat back and watched in horror. It was one thing to see the White House fall again to conservatives, but to see The Spectrum -- a student publication at a largely liberal university -- become a biased right-wing megaphone has been appalling. There is no excuse for the garbage and propaganda gracing the opinion pages of The Spectrum these days. I don't know where any of this year's writers learned your "journalism," but it's going to be a long time before this once-loyal reader picks up a copy again.
I will, however, go online to read The Spectrum. For those of you who don't know, The Spectrum has a wonderful Web site that has been completely renovated for this semester. So please, check it out at spectrum.buffalo.edu! That dashingly blond Ryan Bradley is one of the Web editors, and the site really does look great now. You can also wake up to The Spectrum by getting UB headlines in your inbox.
So in conclusion, Spectrum, you disgust me.
