Success is a journey, not a destination

My experience at UB has guided me through numerous doors I never expected to even see. From incredibly intelligent and wise professors, a multitude of immensely unique friends and experiences one would only dream about, my experiences have shaped me.

New UB foundation Love Your Melon gives hats to children with cancer

Love Your Melon is a non-profit organization started by students in an entrepreneurial class at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota. For each Love Your Melon beanie someone buys, the foundation gives one to a child battling cancer. UB student Kim Charleson knew right away she wanted to become an ambassador when she saw UB was not on the list of colleges joining the foundation, so she started a chapter at UB.

'Clubs going up' in UB's SA

In order to become temporary, a club needs at least 10 student signatures, a constitution and an adviser or coach. Sports clubs must register with an NCAA league to compete. To become a permanent club, student groups must host two club meetings, two club events, participate in two community service events, two SA events and complete two fundraising events. Clubs must also wait two semesters before applying for permanency.
