This weekend, the UB women's volleyball team was home for two MAC matches against the Eagles of Eastern Michigan University and the Marshall University Thundering Herd.After completing the two matches, the Bulls remain winless in MAC conference play with a 0-14 record (5-29 overall). Despite the weekend losses, there were still a few bright spots and personal milestones reached, which the beleaguered team could look to for inspiration.

The University at Buffalo women's volleyball team broke out of a four-match slump with its win over Binghamton Wednesday night.After dropping the first game 28-30 to the Bearcats, the Bulls came charging back to take games two through four 30-15, 32-30 and 30-25.
Volleyball Gets Swept Out of Alumni
Last weekend, the University at Buffalo women's volleyball team faced two tough MAC opponents, failing to salvage a win in either contest and dropping their record to 4-13 for the season and 0-8 in conference play.Friday, the team was home in Alumni Arena hosting defending against MAC Tournament Champions the Western Michigan Broncos.

In a match that lasted only the three-game minimum, the UB Bulls outscored the Colgate University Raiders (30-16, 30-18, 30-28) in front of a rowdy crowd last Tuesday night.The team collected their fourth win this year to up their overall season record to 4-11 (0-6 MAC).The Bull's sweeping win over the Raiders was best described by UB sophomore Lindsay Matikosh, who said, "It's a confidence booster for us and for this weekend.

The UB women's volleyball team defeated the Niagara Purple Eagles 3-2 in a grueling match that spanned two hours and 15 minutes Wednesday night at NU.
