From scorching Singapore to a Buffalo blizzard

I landed in Buffalo in the middle of a January snowstorm and just 33 hours earlier, I boarded a plane in 80-degree weather. I’m multiracial, multiethnic, multicultural and I’ve lived in two countries in different hemispheres. I am no stranger to adaptation and transition. Still, nothing could have prepared me for that snowstorm.
