I am writing regarding the "response" of NYPIRG and their representatives to the SUNY tuition increase proposed in the New York State budget.I, along with many other students here at UB, neither support NYPIRG nor the campaign they are pursuing.
In his article, "The Sky is Falling," Corey Shoock attempts (I assume) to provoke debate regarding the Patriot Act, as well as to entertain the reader.
This is a response to the editorial in the Nov. 12 issue of The Spectrum ["The Truth Need Not Spin"].It is undeniable that the public and international opinion of this war against terrorism is extremely important to its success.
