Winter parking rules to take effect

When the weather outside is wicked, students will have to keep in mind winter parking rules to avoid getting tickets.

This year's winter parking rules will take effect next Saturday until April 15. Over this time period, overnight parking will only be allowed between midnight and 6:30 a.m. in designated parking areas

There will be signage around the UB campuses indicating safe designated parking. There is a full list of on-campus parking areas on the Parking and Transportation Services Web site.

Parking and Transportation cautions students to avoid triple parking, to park near familiar landmarks for ease in returning to your car and to maintain emergency vehicle access.

Parking for the duration of Winter Break is designated for the west end of the Fargo Parking Lot, the second row of Governors Parking Lot E, and the third row of the Main/Bailey Lot on South Campus.
