An Open Letter to Our Readers

In "The Sharpest Point" column in Wednesday's edition of The Spectrum, The Sports Desk referred to our reality-dating series "Spectrum Blind Date." Previously, we had been informed that during the series one of the participants was involved in a relationship. We have since discovered this is untrue, and The Sports Desk sincerely apologizes to anyone who may have been offended by the piece. It was a classless move on our part, and once again, we apologize.
