Jennefer Brankovsky broke three records in the 200-meter individual medley on day one of the MAC Women's Swimming Championships at Bowling Green University Thursday night.
Brankovsky's time of 2:01.51 established an All-Time MAC record, a MAC Championship meet record, and a Cooper Pool record. It also qualifies as an NCAA B standard time.
As a team, however, the Bulls are eighth of nine after day one with 73 points. Miami (Ohio) leds the competition with 241 points followed by Ohio with 198.
Ohio scored a win over a team from a power conference Wednesday night, dropping Virginia of the Atlantic Coast Conference, 78-72, at the Convocation Center in Athens, Ohio.
Steve Esterkamp had 31 points for the Bobcats.
It was Virginia's first ever road game against a Mid-American Conference team.
