Student Tickets for Syracuse Game
Plenty of tickets are still available for students who want to go to the highly touted UB vs. Syracuse football game on Saturday. Tickets will be available to students free of charge today at special swipe stations set up in the lobby of Alumni Arena from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Volleyball
UB sophomore Nikki Morzenti received All-Tournament honors at the Western New York Invitational. She was the cornerstone of BuffaloOs attack, averaging 3.9 kills per game and 2.5 digs in the three matches. In their win over Stony Brook, Morzenti led both teams with 21 kills, just below her career high. In addition, she was named UBOs Female Athlete of the Week.
MenOs Soccer
BuffaloOs sophomore goalkeeper Daniel Bell was named the Defensive MVP at UBOs Fall Classic this weekend at RAC field. Bell had two shutouts and 13 saves in the tournament, and gave up only one goal. In addition, Bell was named UBOs Male athlete of the week. He was also one of five Bulls named to the All-Tournament team. Joining Bell were senior defender Cheick Diarra, junior defender Matt Stuczynski, senior defender Andre Butler and freshman forward Shyle Braithwaite.
