3:28 p.m. - The assistant director of the Ellicott Complex reported a UB cleaner witnessed a physical altercation between two roommates in Greiner Hall. No criminal charges were filed and the incident was turned over to housing.
4:28 p.m. - A student reported being verbally harassed by another male student.
9:17 p.m. - A resident advisor reported several students smoking marijuana in room 463 in Fargo Quadrangle. The two residents, Jacob Hayes and Benjamin Adams, were issued Student-Wide Judiciary paperwork and drug paraphernalia was confiscated and placed in evidence for destruction.
10:24 p.m. - Buffalo Police Department reported having Nicholas Calhoun, a UPD warrant subject, in custody.

10:22 a.m. - A staff member at Accessibility Resources in Capen Hall reported Daniel Tsegai was belligerent when he was speaking to her in her office. The subject refused to leave the area for approximately 15 minutes. The complainant believes the subject may be a student-of-concern.
11:53 p.m. - A caller requested UPD assistance with a marijuana complaint in Richmond Quad. Andrew Levy, Andrew Schwartz, Brandon Davies and Tyler Zubin were referred to SWJ.

11:08 a.m. - A shuttle bus driver reported a suspicious male was approaching people, mostly females, who moved away from him quickly. The subject was described as a 5- foot-11to 6-foot black male in his 30s. He weighed approximately 230 pounds and was wearing a light blue skullcap, dark blue jacket, light blue sweatpants and light blue sneakers.
12:57 p.m. - A caller from the South Campus Child Care Center reported a male was standing outside the center wanting to bring a gift to one of the staff members. The staff member did not want to meet with the subject, however, he would not leave. Patrols identified the subject and transported him to Kensington Avenue and Eggert Road.

12:05 a.m. - A Public Safety aide reported an obnoxious odor of natural gas near the terrace entrance of Wilkeson Quad. Patrol reported the odor originated from vent pipes on the terrace level of Building 5.
9:11 a.m. - A UB shuttle driver reported a male VA Hospital outpatient spit at his bus and was yelling at people while walking across campus on Sherman Road. The subject was described as a 58-year-old black male with a thin build and wearing a dark blue hoodie, jeans and rubber boots. Patrols located the man on Bailey Avenue on his way to the hospital for treatment for symptoms of paranoia.
11:32 p.m. - A First Transit supervisor reported a Sean Steen, a non-student, vomiting on a UB Stampede bus headed toward Goodyear Loop. Patrol requested an ambulance to treat the man's alcohol overdose.

4:06 a.m. - A resident at South Lake apartments reported someone knocking on her door and ringing the doorbell in an attempt to gain access to her suite. The suspect was gone when patrols arrived.
2/17
1:42 a.m. - A Richmond Quad RA reported Daniel Etling was intoxicated and unconscious but breathing. Amherst Fire Control was notified for a Twin City Transport. Etling became combative with patrol upon arrival and was handcuffed for his safety. He was combative the entire time and Twin City put Etling in restraints once inside the ambulance. He was issued SWJ paperwork and a Use of Force form was filed in addition to the police report.
8:37 a.m. - A student reported an individual she has an order of protection against was in the Student Union Theater with her. The suspect is a former student who has an order of protection against the complainant as well. Patrol advised the two to stay away from each other.
3:18 a.m. - A Harriman Hall custodial staff member reported being harassed by two of his supervisors and wanted police there to help him. Patrol reported it was an internal matter and all subjects were advised.
9:53 a.m. - A student reported Qi Chen tried to take pictures of her and grabbed her wrist in Knox Lecture Hall. The victim and suspect were taken to Bissell Hall with patrols. The suspect was released with an appearance ticket.
