A major change in the Buffalo Bulls' football schedule has been made to accommodate a request from ESPN, leading to two national television exposures for UB and its men's basketball and football teams.

Buffalo was originally slated for a game in Philadelphia on Sept. 18 against the Temple Owls, but will now head to Reno, NV to take on the Nevada Wolfpack in a non-conference game. The game, as well as a UB men's basketball one, will be aired on ESPN.

This came to be because of negotiations between six schools.

"We felt that this agreement benefited both UB and the Mid-American Conference," said Bill Maher, UB's interim director of athletics. "The opportunity for the University at Buffalo and our student athletes to receive national television exposure was a major factor in making this change."

Breanne Nasti was named MAC East division player of the week last week. In Saturday's game against Miami, Nasti hit her fourth homerun of the year, and raised her average to .375, which is sixth in the MAC. Her slugging percentage at week's end was .672, which puts her second in the MAC.

Nasti batted over .500 for the week, going 8-14, capped off with a homerun against Miami on Saturday. Nasti scored five runs and drove in two more in a five-game span last week. On Thursday, Nasti went 4-4 in the first game of a split double-header at Canisius.
