A student was transported to the hospital from the Villas on Rensch on Monday afternoon with non-life threatening injuries.
Amherst Police and university police responded to the party at approximately 4 p.m. Monday. Police made no arrests and those involved were cooperative, according to a press release from Kate McKenna, UB director of issues management and stakeholder communication.
Individuals from Student Life are providing support to the student, who is expected to make a full recovery, McKenna said in the statement.
Amherst Police are working with the property owner to prevent similar issues.
