1:36 a.m. – Buffalo 911 reported a male in South Lake Village had slipped in the shower and had possible head injuries. The caller stated the male was in and out of consciousness. Respondents evaluated the UB student, but he refused medical treatment. He was left in the care of his girlfriend.

9:25 a.m. – A student’s mother said she had not talked to her son since Friday, Oct. 31. She said his phone was off. The dispatcher confirmed the phone was off with a phone call. University Police went to the student’s dorm room for a welfare check, but was unable to locate him. UPD spoke with his roommate, who said he spoke with the student the day before. Around 11:30 a.m., the mother said she spoke with her son, who was OK and claimed his phone was broken.

1:08 p.m. – A caller requested an ambulance for a 20-year-old student having an asthma attack. The East Amherst Fire Department was notified, but the student refused transportation.

4:19 p.m. – A UB student reported receiving numerous phone calls from the same phone number in the last two days. When the student finally answered the phone, the caller stated he was from the Department of Immigration Services. He said he knew the student’s phone number, email address and school address. The caller said he had complaints against the student and was asking for more personal information to confirm his identity. The student would not give him any further information and does not want any police action beyond documenting the incident.

9:18 p.m. – An employee requested documentation of a knee injury, which occurred in the Center for the Arts. A student had kneeled on staples, but was denying any medical response.

9:23 p.m. – A UB student reported she passed out in an elevator and was calling from the Wilkeson Hall Office. She requested UPD, but did not want an ambulance at the time. The student was transported to Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital.

12:10 a.m. – A First Transit supervisor reported a student on a bus would not wake up. UPD was dispatched and identified the UB student. UPD said the student was OK and a deep sleeper.

10:53 a.m. – A UB student reported she was stuck in an elevator in Fargo Hall and that the elevator kept moving up and down.
