9/16
1:58 p.m. – A student reported leaving his backpack unattended in the Student Union food court. When he went back to retrieve it, he found it had been stolen.
7:23 p.m. – A sorority was asked to leave Goodyear Hall after they were found passing out fliers in the building. Police were called when the sorority was not cooperating. When police arrived, half of the sorority was found on the 7th floor while the others were making their way to the first floor. The students left the premises after being advised.

3:37 p.m. – A student reported his cell phone was stolen from a men’s bathroom in Talbert Hall. Police arrived and filed a report.
5:03 p.m. – A student was trapped in an elevator in Fargo Building 4. The individual stated there was a piece of metal hanging inside the elevator from the door. Elevator repair arrived and assessed the situation. The student was released at 5:52 p.m.
11:05 p.m. – A student reported an elevator entrapment in Fargo Building 5. Police were dispatched but recalled before arriving because the elevator began working and the individual got out.

1:39 a.m. – A caller reported a hit and run accident in Richmond B parking lot, involving a white pickup truck and a Volkswagen Beetle. Police were sent to the scene.

12:03 a.m. – A resident advisor (RA) reported five people smoking marijuana in Greiner Hall. Police identified UB students Dennis O’Connor, Patrick McHugh and Charles Owens. The two non-students were Michael Smith and Femi Papoola. The three UB students were referred to Student Wide Judiciary.
9/21
2:27 a.m. – An RA reported a female lying in the grass outside of Wilkeson. The individual was conscious. Police arrived on the scene and found the individual to be experiencing an alcohol overdose. The female was transported to Erie County Medical Center.
2:00 p.m. – An unknown person reported possible damage to the kayak launch at Lake LaSalle. The caller was not at the location, but received a photo. Police arrived and found the equipment to have been blown over due to improper securing and strong wind.
9/22
11:27 p.m. – A resident of Wilkeson Quad reported a foul smelling substance that had been poured under her door. Police identified the suspect and said it was a possible prank. The incident was turned over to Housing.
