SA elections to begin after Spring Break

Student Association elections for next year's president, vice president, treasurer and SUNY delegates will take place March 25-27 - the week following Spring Break.

Polls will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday through Thursday, in the Student Union Theater.

This year, each party can have only 15 supporters on the SU floor at one time. Also, on the Thursday of the election, supporters will be confined in an area that will not allow them to walk voters to the polls.

The Impact Party consists of presidential candidate Erin Lachaal; vice presidential candidate Myriam Diomande; treasurer candidate Juan Jimenez; and SUNY delegate candidates Cesar Carrion, Tony Daniel, Farhan Hussain and Colin Kelly.

The Value Party consists of presidential candidate James Ingram; vice presidential candidate Evan Chen; treasurer candidate Sade Cadle; and SUNY delegate candidates Sophia Peters, Hayley Ross, Corinne Zee and Collin Olander.

Treasurer candidate Ali Ahmed is running independently.

The Spectrum will release candidate breakdowns and the publication's official endorsements Friday, March 14.
