Police Blotter 3/5-3/7

All information according to University Police reports.

12:33 p.m. - A Crossroads Culinary Center manager reported five suspects stole decorations from the restaurant. An hour later, University Police (UPD) recovered the stolen property in a Spaulding Hall dorm and the Student-Wide Judiciary (SWJ) issued tickets to Nicholas Lanthier, Ashley Chiffy and Anna-Taya Spencer. UPD reported SWJ will petition Victoria Fichter and Andrew Pond also. The suspects returned the decorations to the restaurant.

2:45 p.m. - A faculty member reported that a projector was stolen from 106 Diefendorf Hall on South Campus. There was no sign of forced entry.

8:00 p.m. - UPD reported a suspicious male digging through the dumpster on Service Center Road. The suspect stated he was searching for his wallet he may have accidentally thrown out earlier that day.

1:13 a.m. - A caller requested first aid for an unresponsive UB student who may have taken Xanax. The student refused treatment and UPD petitioned the student to the Student-Wide Judiciary.

7:48 p.m. - A UB staff member called UPD to report a student was refusing to leave the area outside her office in Baldy Hall. The student had received a grade he was unhappy with. The staff member said the student was being persistent and acting strange. The student did not make any physical or verbal threats. UPD escorted the student out of the building.

1:57 p.m. - A student reported Daniel Tekin, another student, had repeatedly struck him while they were in the Student Union lobby. The victim refused assistance from the ambulance. UPD arrested Tekin at Red Jacket Hall and charged him with assault.
