1:14 a.m. - Amherst Police Department (APD) arrested UB student Michaela Carbone, 20, for driving under the influence on Main Street and Allenhurst Avenue.

8:29 a.m. - A cleaner reported observing a suspicious male in Abbott Hall. The suspect entered the building early and when the complainant asked him for ID, he refused to provide it. The suspect was described as a black male 30 to 35 years old and approximately 5-foot-9. He had a medium build and was wearing dark gray or dark blue cloth cabby's cap, a purple shirt and a dark hoodie.

1:24 p.m. - An anonymous complainant reported a suspicious white male walking around Richmond Quad, begging people for money and trying to get into the building. The suspect was approximately 20 years old and described as wearing a blue shirt, black jeans and having short black hair. Patrol reported a door was ajar, but no one matching the description was found.

9:47 p.m. - A Greiner Hall resident advisor (RA) reported a resident threw a chair at a group of students in the fifth floor lounge in Greiner. The chair was broken but no students were injured.

12:04 a.m. - An RA reported one of his residents threatened a roommate with a knife in Greiner Hall. The victim was in the RA's room when the threat was reported. The suspect was believed to be heading to the Ellicott Food Court. The victim reported his roommate said: "You better lock your room tonight. I have a knife." The suspect turned over the pocketknife to police. The issue was turned over to Campus Living.

12:30 a.m. - Two hundred dollars in cash was stolen from a locked room in Wilkeson Quad. The door was still locked when the complainant returned to the room. There was no sign of forced entry.

5:17 p.m. - Anwar Omar, a student, was issued Student-Wide Judiciary (SWJ) paperwork after patrol noticed a strong odor of marijuana coming from his Clement Hall dorm room. A small amount of the substance, a grinder and a pipe were confiscated.

9:55 a.m. - Danny Xu, a student, was charged with one count of criminal mischief for painting graffiti in a stairwell in Red Jacket Building 6. The evidence was secured and Xu was released with a court date in Amherst Town Court on May 29. He also received SWJ paperwork.

8:36 p.m. - An anonymous female called reported hazing at a frat house at 17 Northrup Place. Information was given to Buffalo Police Department.

9:22 p.m. - A complainant advised finding what appeared to be fresh graffiti in the stairwells in Clemens Hall. A work order was filed but since reported new graffiti and spray cans were found at the location.

12:56 a.m. - APD requested assistance with students who were pulling mailboxes out of the ground. Students Sean Butler and Michael Morgan were issued SWJ appearance tickets.

8:25 a.m. - A grounds employee reported a picnic table was thrown from the Fargo Terrace into the Fargo Courtyard.

10:19 p.m. - Ikenna Mbadiwe, a student, was issued SWJ paperwork and told to leave Porter Quad after an assistant hall director reported having an unwelcome guest in Building 5.
