1:38 p.m. - A caller said there was a suspicious male in his lab in room 649 of the Biomedical Research Building. The suspect was described as a black male in his late 20s or early 30s, from 5-foot-9 to 5-foot-10. The suspect identified himself as "Shawn Anderson" and said he was looking for his brother that was in a class in the building.

5:17 p.m.- A faculty member reported smoke coming from a tree in the Baird B parking lot off of Augspurger Road. Patrol was sent to the area, where no fire was observed, and water was applied to the tree.

11:00 p.m. - A sick student was found sitting on the ground at the main circle bus loop, and was thought to be possibly intoxicated. The subject was transported to ECMC by ambulance.

12:10 a.m. - A suspicious male with a striped shirt was reportedly talking to himself at the farmer's market. Patrol reported that the subject was buying produce.
1:31 a.m. - A female was found on the first floor of Greiner Hall in front of the elevators. She was thought to be intoxicated. An ambulance was requested, and she was then taken to Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital.
12:44 p.m. - A tire was slashed in Hadley Village parking lot near building 102.

3:21 a.m. - Buffalo Police reported a UB student was robbed on Main Street at LaSalle. There were no injuries reported and no information on the suspect.

11:44 a.m. - A suspicious male was reported using the copy machine in the Capen Library. Police later stated the subject was allowed in the library if he is taking classes there. Patrol later reported he is taking classes, and he was advised by patrol.
8:46 p.m. - A student reported her cell phone was stolen out of her room in the Richmond Quad. The victim said people were going in and out of her room.
10:17 a.m. - An electronic scanning system and chargers were reportedly stolen from Alumni Arena on Saturday, Aug. 25, between the hours of 4 p.m. and 9 p.m. The total value is approximately $4,000.
