Veronica Ritter

Assistant Life Editor

Ever since I was little I've loved to read and write, and I always knew that I wanted to be a writer when I grew up. Now being almost grown, I know that making it as a successful author is a one in a million chance, and while I'm still hoping to become one, journalism has always been an interest of mine as well.

I am currently what I like to call a "sunior," because I am technically a junior but am graduating a year early so this will be my final year at UB, making me a sunior, English major with a concentration in journalism and creative writing. I plan to go to graduate school for creative writing.

This will be my second semester working at The Spectrum and I am now an assistant editor for the Life Desk. This semester, I am proud and pleased to present a fashion section, or at least a lot more articles pertaining to it, as well as fashion tips and more. I have a serious passion for fashion and am excited to share it with all of you and also learn a few things myself along the way.

I love that I can be the one to report to the public, or UB's student body, an event that is coming up or summing up one that has passed. Even if it's a profile on someone worth reading, there are so many things students need to know. Student life is such an enormous part of college and it is crucial for students to take advantage of everything that is offered to them while at UB.
