If 20-year-old me met 14-year-old me, I think that 14 year old would not believe her eyes.
Fourteen-year-old me never opened her mouth and rarely spoke, even if spoken to. She wanted to major in biology in college and wanted to go to medical school.
Twenty-year-old me never shuts her mouth and sticks her nose into other peoples' business. She wants to be a journalist.
It's safe to say that I never thought I'd be in my third year at UB as an English major, after unsuccessfully trying to be a biology major. I certainly never thought I'd end up on the news desk or even writing for The Spectrum.
This paper is how I will define my college experience, and I encourage any student who enjoys writing to give it a try.
I'm your typical Buffalonian; I'm obsessed with this city and everything that comes with it. I love books, Scrabble, and music. I know too much about house wares and children's clothing from years in retail. The ski slopes are my real home when I'm not living in 132 Student Union.
Writing is my escape.
