When I was elected editor-in-chief by last year's editorial board, I envisioned a user-friendly Web site that is easy to navigate through, one that reaches to our readers, one that is ready for the future and one that we can be proud of.
Ranging from videos to music players, high-resolution photographs to extra stories, this Web site will bring everything that matters to you, our readers, in one sound place.
Be sure to register on our front page for our newsletter, which will be sent out each week with the day's top stories. It will also allow you to comment on stories and converse with other members of the UB community.
In addition, be sure to click on "Contact Us" on the bottom of your screen if you ever need to get in touch with myself or any of my fellow editors. We even have a "Letter to the Editor" form that will make it easier for you to send your thoughts to me.

Our archives are also in the process of being transferred over. They'll be here before you know it. And there are some small technical issues. We're ironing those out, too.
