Lauren Nostro wanted to be a broadcast journalist until Tyra Banks stole her thunder. So, this is her backup plan. Lauren has changed her direction and has since found her true love to be in the field of investigative journalism. As a true Buffalonian, Lauren hopes her love for The Queen City will inspire those UB students plagued by Ellicott Syndrome to venture out in their new home.
Lauren attended the University of Toronto for two years where she studied Philosophy of Law. She recently transferred to UB this past fall where she began her journalism career as a staff writer at The Spectrum. Lauren is a junior communication and journalism major at UB and will be attending Oxford University later this spring to study social philosophy and the beauty of the British accent.
