Caitlin Tremblay has wanted to be a professional journalist ever since she read "A Tell Tale Heart" in ninth grade English class. Her teacher gave the class an assignment involving reading the short story and then turning the facts into a news story about a homicide. It was love at first comma splice.
Thus far in her journalism career, Caitlin has worked for Generation, the former student-run magazine at UB, as a feature writer and assistant features editor. She was a paid intern with the news department at The Daily Gazette in Schenectady, NY, she helps run the web team for Buffalo newsweekly, Artvoice, and has been the Campus Editor at The Spectrum since the fall of 2009.
Caitlin is a senior English and history major at UB and will be attending Columbia University for a master's degree in journalism in the fall.
