Just a season ago, the football team thrived on forcing turnovers. As a team, it recovered 25 fumbles and picked off the opposing quarterback eight times. Its favorable turnover ratio translated directly into wins and propelled it to a Mid-American Conference Championship and a bowl game appearance.
