An inconvenient truth

Save yourself.

One of the major issues of our time is global warming, with key questions arising such as how do we stop or prevent it?

Newsflash: we cant.

Global warming's end result will be an ice age, which has happened before. These so called "preventionists" of global warming are fighting for a lost cause with their policies and regulations, which industrialists don't even follow - they'd rather pay the fine as it costs more to obey state wide regulations.

We had an iced earth before we were civilized and we will have one again. Global warming is not entirely the fault of the human race but we are the reason for speeding up the process. Why try to prevent the inevitable when we are only wasting precious time and money?

Why should we try to stop a train that can't be derailed? We don't have the technical know-how to prevent this from happening, yet we continue to preach a gospel of salvation.

Instead of trying to cool a heated issue, we could instead prepare for an inevitable frozen fate. We could build shelters of some kind for our protection and survival and, more importantly, that of future generations. We'd also boost the economy with additional job creation.

Our first priority should be to figure out how the human race would survive in a world with the climate of a Russian Siberia. We need the countries of the world to come together and figure out a system or standard of how our shelters will be composed and where they will be located. We also need to figure out how we will sleep, eat, drink, secrete, communicate and generate power.

We are losing time fast. Winters are lasing longer and getting colder in the process. We've had numerous disastrous hurricanes across the world and in California we've watched the west coast burn as Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger declared a state of emergency.

These are all signs of our impending fate - global warming - which everyone seems to be ignoring. People who don't have an opinion on the issue seem to think nothing will happen to them in their lifetime. These people are dead wrong. It's happening all around us.

Are we just going to stand by and do nothing to prepare our self for the inevitable? We are just going to get more extreme weather, more flooding, more snow, more hurricanes, more wild fire and more horrifying natural disasters.

We can't just stand by and watch the world drift away. It's time to react.
