Falling in line with those who wear backwards hats, your SA representatives have decided to ban The Spectrum's Senior Arts Editor John Ranic and Senior Photo Editor Bryan Engelmann from the upcoming comedy series, also implying that future events are on their way.
Why? The same editors had the nerve to call out SA for turning a blind eye to concert-goers stealing press passes (hint: they're not press) and free T-shirts from backstage at the last Fall Fest.
Now, since Ranic and Engelmann, the heads of their respective departments at The Spectrum are being told they can't cover events, doesn't this hint at a bigger problem?
At the same time, Peter Grollitsch decided to spout off some half-truths in this week's Visions. Editor in Chief Stephanie Sciandra plans to submit a response. Will they run it?
Only time will tell.
Rather than use your money for ridiculous "perks" for friends, tell SA to start living up to their promises.
Stop by The Spectrum office, 132 Student Union, to sign a petition telling your student government to stop holding the newspaper's subscription fee hostage, or for more information.
