Create incentive for public transit

Letter to the Editor

I am wondering why UB isn't part of the "College/University Unlimited

Access Program" with NFTA-Metro. By participating in the program, students get to ride the Metro bus by using their school IDs as valid fare.

I know Bryant and Stratton, ECC, Buffalo State, and Medaille Colleges all participate in the program.

Let's get with it, UB. Not every college student has wheels. The Metro is also more environmentally sound then driving. Hey, it could also mean a few more parking spaces.

Let's really put the students first by participating in the Metro Unlimited Access Program.
