Hot Goalie
UB men's club hockey goalie John Czaplinski was named the American Collegiate Hockey Association Goalie of the Month for the month of October. Czaplinski helped the Bulls to a 17-2 record, and 9-1 record within their conference. During October, Czaplinski recorded two shutouts, a 1.88 goals against average and a 93-percent save percentage. Currently, Czaplinski leads the entire ACHA Division I and the ECHA in every relevant statistical category for goalies.
Czaplinski owns a total of three shutouts on the year and has helped to lead the UB men's club hockey team to a top 25 ranking in the ACHA. The team is ranked 15th in ACHA Division I, and if the team finishes the season with ranking, they will qualify for the ACHA championships.
