As many undoubtedly know, the Buffalo and Erie County Public Library system will shut down in approximately one month if the current redline budget passes. I wrote to the Assistant Deputy of Human Resources at the Central Library downtown suggesting that volunteers staff the Central Library. If anyone wants to help with coordination, volunteer, sign petitions, give advice, please email me at emmjaygee@gmail.com. If we can't get the politicians to do our bidding, let's do it ourselves, and fire 'em all next election! This is our public library system!
