Student Seating in Renovated Alumni Arena

Returning Mighty Maniacs from last year may not recognize the new student sections at Alumni Arena. Now that renovations are finished inside of the 23-year-old facility, the student seats have been relocated to the areas behind the baskets. In addition to those sections, over 450 seats along the sidelines in the new chair back seating area will be reserved for students, in sections 111, 112 and 116. Those seats will be given out on a first come, first served basis. The student seating in the plastic bleacher section, which if left empty will feature the word "Bulls" on either side of the arena, accommodates a grand total of 2,000 students. The renovations have dropped the arena's total capacity from last year by over 2,800 seats, from 8,971 to 6,100.

Seats are available to current UB undergraduate students free of charge, provided they have valid university identification. The first home game for the Bulls is Tuesday, Nov. 23 against Fairleigh Dickinson.

In addition, UB men's and women's basketball will play a home game double-header at HSBC Arena, at the end of the Metro line in downtown Buffalo. The men square off against Indiana State University, while the women will face Lafayette. Tickets will be available on a first come, first served basis starting today. There are 300 tickets available free of charge for UB students.
