Student Athlete Advisory Committee

The University at Buffalo Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) coordinated a fundraising campaign to provide aid for victims of the recent string of hurricanes in the Florida area. With help from a $300 donation from the Tonawanda Rotary Club, UB's student-athletes were able to collect a $1,000 donation to donate to the University of Central Florida.

The donation went to the UCF Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and they have decided to donate the funds to the Orlando chapter of the Second Harvest Food Bank. The money will go to the distribution of food to over 200 different agencies in Central Florida that are aiding in the assistance of hurricane relief.
