Women's Cross Country Gets Top 30 Votes

The UB women's cross country team received 2 votes in the latest FinishLynx top 30 poll. The Bulls' two votes put them in a tie with Purdue. The two votes came after UB finished sixth overall in last weekends Paul Short Invitational in Bethlehem, Pa. The Bulls look to continue writing the pages of history this Saturday when they travel to compete in the LaSalle Invitational in Philadelphia. The women's race starts at 3 p.m.


Linda Yalem Run To Start Sunday

The 15th annual Linda Yalem run and walk is scheduled to take place this Sunday at 9:30 a.m. on North Campus to promote a safe campus running and walking environment. UB expects up to 1,000 runners to participate in the annual event. Linda Yalem was a UB student who was raped and murdered while on a routine jog along the North Campus bike path in 1990. The event is open to everyone and runners can register online or at 7:30 a.m. the day of the race.
