Friday:
12 to 4 p.m.: Halloween activities. Student Union lobby. Pumpkin carving, face painting, cookie decorating, a mummy wrap race, and a donut-on-a-string contest.
12 to 4 p.m., 7 to 11 p.m.: Haunted Student Union.
Saturday:
8 a.m. to 1 p.m.: Harvest Festival. Bidwell Farmer's Market on Bidwell Pkwy. near Elmwood. Pony rides, a petting zoo, and hayrides.
6:30 p.m.: Halloween Blues and Brews Party. Over 20 breweries, distributors and local restaurants will be featured at the Shea's Performing Arts Center with a costume contest and live music.
8:30 p.m.: Halloween costume benefit ball for CEPA at Soundlab. Music from the Vores, Barrel Harbor, the Date, and Mark Webb and horror movies by Gayle Gorman; admission is $5 with costume, $10 without.
9 p.m.: Dead Rockster Halloween Party. Hard Rock Caf?(c), featuring the angry rock of the Ours, a free show.
Sunday:
11 p.m.: Artist Response Movement Halloween celebration. Nietzsche's.
