Cross Country
UB senior Jenny Koeppel has been named the Mid-American Conference women's runner of the week for the second week in a row this season. Koeppel captured her second consecutive first place finish in as many races last weekend at the Central Collegiate Invitational in Toledo. Koeppel's victory also helped the UB women's cross country team nail down a first place overall finish at the same meet.
Women's Basketball
Former UB basketball player Kim Coon has decided to return to her roots and join head coach Cheryl Dozier as an administrative assistant for the women's team. Coon was ninth in all-time scoring for UB, racking up 1,038 points in four years (9.4 ppg). As a senior, Coon played under Dozier in her inaugural season as the team's head coach.
