Football Home Opener to be Televised

UB's home opener against Syracuse on Sat., Sept. 11, is going to be televised on WNLO-TV in Buffalo. This is the first time since 1970 that a UB football game will be broadcast on a local television station. The game will also be picked up in Syracuse and will be available as part of ESPN's college football game plan.

In addition to being televised, the game is predicted to set a new attendance record for the University at Buffalo. The old record of 26,126 was set against Colgate at War Memorial Stadium in 1951.
