In response to Rebecca Diegelman's letter, printed March 1, which concluded with "(Allowing one's sperm to enter a uterus) is reckless endangerment, attempted murder and femicide. Plan B can prevent impregnation if taken within 72 hours or less after the 'sexual contact'":
Curse you, Rebecca Diegelman, UB Alumnus, Class of 1998! You have exposed our conspiracy. Indeed, you are correct. For years now, men have been conspiring to wipe women off the face of the earth. You see, first we contract such devastating diseases as HIV, HPV, and cervical cancer. Then, we seek out an unsuspecting female and coerce her into having sex with us by such vile means of trickery as oral sex, "asking for it," or wedding rings. You see, we need these tactics; for what woman would ever willingly engage in sexual activity with a man?
Once we have lured our prey into bed, we wear a condom to put her at ease, but at the last second, we intentionally tear this condom, allowing ourselves to more fully invade said woman with our pregnancy and our diseases. Only then will she realize our deception. Our goal is, of course, to kill the woman with this disease, but if a female fetus dies with her, then our victory is all the greater.
Curse you, Diegelman, and curse your Plan B pill! Only you stand between us and our aspirations of "femicide."
