Community Assistants Suspended for Indecent Behavior

Following the firing of three community assistants in Flint Village for attending a Halloween party last semester, three more CAs have been fired in Hadley this week for using curse words and engaging in open-mouth kissing.

Marc Farmington, Rachel Trops and Will Harvey were let go by Director of University Residence Halls and Apartments John Endicott on Monday.

"This kind of behavior is not what we expect from our CAs," Endicott said. "These young men and women are supposed to be role models. Going to parties, cursing and French kissing just isn't something college students should be engaged in."

Farmington, Trops and Harvey were fired after several residents witnessed Trops and Farmington making out near the Hadley Apartments.

A startled Harvey then encountered Trops and Farmington mid-make out and was heard to utter "What the f**k?"

After some disturbed residents reported the incident, the three were fired.

"I was shocked and saddened that we were fired," said Harvey in a statement. "I have already put in transfer applications to Brigham Young and Bob Jones University. I need a more open-minded college atmosphere."

The CAs, who released only brief statements to the campus media, said they will appeal the decision to fire them.

Farmington said he did not regret the so-called transgression because Trops made it worth it.

"Soooo hot. Want to touch the heinie," said Farmington.

Endicott declined to comment further, adding only that the discovery of a Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue under Harvey's mattress just made the situation worse.

"Bikinis are the work of the devil,' Endicott said. He said he has also asked university police to look into some boys playing "the foosball" near UB Stadium.

Following the incident, UHR&A is considering even more stringent guidelines on the behavior of community assistants, including rules banning exposed skin above the ankle, owning PG-rated movies, and boxes of RedHots with pictures of a cartoon devil on them.

Cameras will also be banned because, according to Endicott, having your picture taken "steals your soul."
