Led by junior Jenny Koeppel, the women's cross country team cruised to a ninth place finish in Saturday's Mid-American Conference Cross-Country Championships. James Patrick scored his first goal of the season for Buffalo, while the Senators Daniel Alfredsson scored a power play goal mid-way through the second to round out the scoring. The Sabres return home Wednesday to play the Thrashers.
