As I draw closer to the planned end of my undergraduate career, I have come to realize the breadth and depth of the knowledge and experience I have acquired over the time. As a student, I've developed an understanding of the ways our student population lives and thinks. As a member of The Spectrum staff and this year's editor in chief, I've adjusted to the fine art of balancing a full-time, professional job with my studies.
Having taken that into account and knowing that with only a little more time I can finish a second degree in Latino Studies, I have decided to delay graduation two years and run for SA president for the 2004-05 academic year.
Remember me. Two years from now, as you're preparing to vote for SA president, do the right thing - vote for Sara Paulson, the only candidate willing to sacrifice two years of her life for the undergraduate student population.
